The wedding will take place on May 17, 2025, at the Balboa Yacht Club in Newport Beach, California (1801 Bayside Dr, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625). Both the ceremony and reception will be held here.

The dress code is formal/evening attire. Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors during the afternoon and into the night, so plan for the weather accordingly. Umbrellas and heaters will be provided to better accommodate our guests. And bring your sunglasses!

Because our wedding is an intimate gathering, attendance is limited; your invitation will be addressed to those invited.

We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to celebrate with us!

Depending on where you're flying from, you have a couple of options. John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana (SNA) is the closest to Newport, only 7 miles away. Flights into this smaller airport may be limited, but it's only a 15-20 minute car ride via Uber or Taxi. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 45 miles from the Wedding location. It will likely have more flight options but it is the furthest from the Wedding location. It typically takes anywhere from 1 - 1.5 hours to drive from LAX to Balboa, meaning you'll need to take a taxi or an Uber, or rent a car. Long Beach Airport (LBA) is 25.5 miles from the Wedding location. Some may require connecting flights to arrive at this airport, but we find that prices are typically better and it's only a 30 minute Uber ride long.

Due to the nature of the venue, the limited parking space is reserved for BYC club members only. However, there are plenty of self-parking options on the street closeby. Guests can also valet at the VEA Resort & Spa and use the free shuttle service to the Balboa Yacht Club.

The VEA Resort & Spa has a free shuttle service within a 5-mile of the hotel for guests. The shuttle service will be available to and from the Yacht Club for the Rehearsal Dinner and the day of the Ceremony & Reception, but spots aren't guaranteed or reserved. There are limited seats so if you're interested in using, simply call the front desk at least 15 minutes before your planned departure time and inquire about availability. The shuttle routes typically run every 30 minutes

May weather in Newport Beach is typically mild, with highs in the 70s°F and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket for the evening, but we'll have heaters at the reception to make sure you're comfortable.

Guests should arrive at the Balboa Yacht Club by 4:00 pm.
